As a Chef, you will play a pivotal role in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food safety, and leading a team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Duties

Oversee all aspects of food production and kitchen operations. Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen. Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and seasonal specials. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering an environment of teamwork and professional growth. Monitor food presentation and portion sizes to ensure consistency and quality.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the restaurant industry. Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding customer service. Culinary qualifications or relevant certifications are advantageous. Previous experience in fine dining or high-volume establishments is preferred.
