Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a collaborative environment
Manage food production processes, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality meals
Monitor stock levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations
Ensure all food served meets safety standards and complies with hygiene regulations
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver excellent service and customer satisfaction
Develop new menu items in line with current culinary trends and guest preferences
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen at all times
Skills
Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen environment
Extensive food production and preparation skills
Strong team management capabilities with leadership qualities
Excellent cooking techniques across various cuisines
In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and management
