We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and production, with the ability to lead and manage a team effectively. This role requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, ensuring that every dish served meets our exceptional hospitality standards.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a positive working environment.
Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Train new kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen procedures.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Maintain high standards of presentation for all dishes served.
Qualifications
At least 3 years experience in managing a team, ideally fast paced and high volume kitchen Responsible, hard-working, and detail-oriented
Good team player with a positive attitude
Able to work as part of the team, under pressure
Positive energy and dedication to the team
Proven experience in a culinary role, with significant kitchen experience in a restaurant setting, with a minimum of 5 years experience
Supervising experience is essential, with strong team management skills.
Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
A solid understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and inspire a team.
Strong communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with both kitchen and front-of-house staff.
Previous experience in hospitality is advantageous, showcasing an understanding of guest expectations.
