Responsibilities
Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their orders.
Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations.
Assist in upselling menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during peak hours.
Perform basic maths calculations for order processing and cash handling as required.
Participate in training sessions to improve culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not essential.
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Basic understanding of culinary techniques and food preparation methods.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is an advantage.
Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
Ability to work well within a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in various situations.
