We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with the ability to create delicious meals while adhering to food safety standards. This role requires kitchen experience and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menu plans
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Assist in meal preparation for special events or catering services
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
Provide excellent service during meal service, including serving dishes and assisting customers as needed
Participate in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes
Qualifications
Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting
Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues
A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests

Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour
