Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus. Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and of high quality. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Provide exceptional service by presenting meals attractively and responding to customer inquiries regarding menu items. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or catering environment. Strong culinary skills with the ability to follow recipes accurately. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is highly desirable. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. A team player with good communication skills, capable of working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. A passion for cooking and a desire to create memorable dining experiences for guests.
