We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a KITCHEN COOK. Duties
Assist with food preparation, including chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients for various dishes
Support the cooking process by following recipes and instructions from senior kitchen staff
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all tasks
Prepare meals according to established recipes and presentation standards
Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitising surfaces
Help with stock rotation and inventory management to minimise waste
Support serving staff during busy periods by delivering prepared dishes promptly and accurately
Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications
Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Experience working in a restaurant or catering environment is advantageous
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Enthusiastic about learning new culinary techniques and improving skills
Flexibility to work shifts as required, including evenings and weekends if necessary
