We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our kitchen team. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests enjoy high-quality meals while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen.

Duties

- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely meal service.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, safety practices, and kitchen operations.
- Participate in regular kitchen meetings to discuss menu changes, feedback, and improvements.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or catering environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent culinary skills with an understanding of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask effectively in a busy kitchen setting.
- A passion for cooking and helping others enjoy great food experiences.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
