Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will assist in food preparation, cooking, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained. Kitchen staff are also entitled to a share of tips.

Duties

Assist in preparing ingredients and cooking a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards Support the kitchen team with meal preparation, ensuring timely delivery of orders Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all staff Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations Contribute to maintaining a positive team atmosphere through effective communication and cooperation

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or catering environment is preferred Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene Experience with meal preparation, including handling ingredients and cooking techniques Familiarity with restaurant service or serving roles is advantageous Practical understanding of kitchen equipment and tools used in professional culinary settings No formal experience required; training will be provided for suitable candidates eager to learn and grow within the role
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 07 - 17 per week
