We are seeking a someone who wants a varied and dynamic role in an award winning tennis centre. The ideal candidate will have a background in food preparation or willingness to learn culinary techniques and food safety standards. They will be interested in working both in our kitchen and serving customers at our reception.

Shifts available are evenings and weekends - and vary depending on events.

As a Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing simple and fresh meals and as a receptionist you will be friendly and outgoing.

Kitchen Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety practices.

Reception Duties

Welcoming centre users Taking payments over the till Serving hot drinks and cakes Answering the phone Lone working and team working Closing the building, locking up

Qualifications

Proven experience in a kitchen environment or willingness to learn Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices or willingness to learn Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. A passion for good customer service

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week
