Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic culinary team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills within a vibrant hospitality environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting food preparation, assisting with cooking, and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or hospitality settings is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. The position is paid and suitable for individuals passionate about delivering excellent service and quality food.

Duties



Assist in preparing ingredients and components for menu items, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and organisation Support chefs with cooking and plating dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment in compliance with health and safety regulations Help with stock rotation, inventory checks, and restocking supplies as needed Follow hygiene protocols diligently to ensure a safe and sanitary working environment Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient service during busy periods Assist in serving food to customers when required, providing friendly and professional customer interaction

Requirements



Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential Knowledge of kitchen safety procedures and hygiene standards is advantageous Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to adapt to various tasks within the kitchen setting Good organisational skills with attention to detail Enthusiasm for culinary arts and hospitality industry standards Previous experience in restaurants, hotels, or similar establishments will be considered a plus

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
