We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, providing high-quality food and service to our guests. Duties
Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, marinating, and cooking ingredients to meet menu specifications.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Support the head chef in menu planning and execution of daily specials.
Participate in inventory management, including receiving deliveries and stock rotation.
Uphold high standards of presentation for all dishes served.
Engage positively with team members to foster a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is highly desirable.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods is essential.
Culinary experience or formal training in hospitality is an advantage.
