Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our busy hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation of all kitchenware, ensuring a smooth flow of operations within our restaurant or hotel environment. Duties

Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitise dishes, cutlery, glassware, and kitchen utensils using appropriate equipment and cleaning agents. Ensure all items are stored correctly and organised for easy access by kitchen staff. Assist with basic food preparation tasks when required, supporting the culinary team. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors, sinks, and work surfaces. Support the overall cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment to meet health and safety standards. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods. Follow all health and safety procedures diligently, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates. Basic understanding of food preparation, cooking, or culinary processes is desirable. Good organisational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards. Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak service times. A friendly attitude with excellent teamwork skills. Flexibility to work shifts as required, including evenings or weekends if necessary. Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food service environments is beneficial but not mandatory.
