Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our kitchen, ensuring a smooth and hygienic environment for food preparation and service. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a passion for hospitality. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Duties

Responsible for cleaning all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to the highest standards of hygiene. Assist with basic food preparation tasks when required, supporting chefs and kitchen staff. Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organised throughout shifts. Support the team during busy periods by efficiently managing dishwashing stations. Follow health and safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe working environment. Help with waste disposal and recycling processes as per company policies. Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of basic food preparation and culinary practices is advantageous. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks within the kitchen environment. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends if required.
