Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join our busy hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience within a vibrant restaurant or hotel setting, supporting the overall smooth operation of the establishment. Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or hospitality is advantageous but not essential; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key.

Responsibilities

Wash and sanitise dishes, cutlery, glassware, and kitchen utensils promptly and efficiently Clean kitchen surfaces, appliances, and equipment to maintain hygiene standards Assist with basic food preparation tasks as required Ensure all cleaning duties are completed in accordance with health and safety regulations Organise dishware and kitchen tools for easy access by staff Support the team during busy service periods to ensure smooth operations Follow cleaning schedules and report any maintenance issues promptly

Skills

Previous experience in food preparation or restaurant/hospitality environments is desirable Knowledge of kitchen safety and hygiene standards Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods Good organisational skills with attention to detail Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Willingness to learn new skills related to culinary operations and hospitality services
