We are seeking an experienced and reliable Kitchen Porter/Cleaner to join our team within a fast paced kitchen. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations.
Applicants MUST BE AGED OVER 21yrs AND BE ABLE TO WORK EVENINGS, WEEKENDS PLUS A DAY DURING THE WEEK!
This role is not suitable for school students.
The hours will typically be 2pm-11pm so applicants must be able to get home safely late at night. Initially working days will be Friday, Saturday and Sundays with regular deep cleans taking place on a Monday.
Applicants MUST HAVE CLEANING EXPERIENCE
This position is perfect for individuals may have childcare responsibilities during the week but can have cover at weekends and evenings.
Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
Support chefs and kitchen staff during service by providing timely assistance
Wash dishes, pots, and pans, ensuring all items are returned to their proper places
Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with health and safety regulations
Help with stock rotation and inventory management as required
Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but cleaning experience is essential
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
