We are seeking a diligent and motivated Kitchen Porter and cleaner to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our kitchen environment, ensuring smooth daily operations. Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or hospitality is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Assist with basic food preparation tasks to support the kitchen team Ensure all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area Support with waste disposal and recycling procedures in line with health and safety regulations Restock supplies and organise storage areas to ensure efficient workflow Assist with general cleaning duties to uphold hygiene standards throughout the premises Support the kitchen team during busy service periods as required

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is desirable but not mandatory Knowledge of food preparation and basic cooking techniques is beneficial Strong organisational skills with an eye for cleanliness and detail Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards work Willingness to learn new skills within a fast-paced environment Basic understanding of health and safety standards in a culinary setting

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
