We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Kitchen Porter to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our kitchen, ensuring a smooth operation and high standards of hygiene. Duties

Washing, peeling, and preparing ingredients as required for cooking and service Cleaning dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and work surfaces to maintain hygiene standards Assisting with basic food preparation tasks under supervision Supporting the kitchen team during busy periods to ensure timely service Organising storage areas to ensure ingredients and supplies are properly stored and easily accessible Assisting with waste disposal and recycling procedures in line with health and safety regulations Ensuring the cleanliness of floors, walls, and general kitchen environment at all times Supporting other staff members with serving or organisational tasks when needed

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or hospitality is advantageous but not mandatory Experience working in restaurants, hotels, or catering environments is a plus Knowledge of kitchen safety and hygiene standards is desirable Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong organisational skills and a proactive attitude towards cleanliness and safety Willingness to learn new skills related to culinary operations and hospitality services
