We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our busy culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment, supporting chefs and kitchen staff in delivering excellent service. Responsibilities

Assist with basic food preparation tasks as directed by senior kitchen staff Wash, clean, and sanitise dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and storage areas to meet health and safety standards Support with organising stock and ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are followed Help with setting up dining areas before service and clearing after service Follow all hygiene protocols and safety procedures at all times

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is advantageous but not essential Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices is desirable Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail Good organisational skills and a proactive approach to tasks Willingness to learn new skills related to culinary arts and hospitality operations A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
