We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Kitchen Porter to join our busy hospitality team. Duties

Washing, cleaning, and sanitising dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils to ensure hygiene standards are met Assisting with basic food preparation tasks under supervision Supporting the kitchen team with organisational duties such as restocking supplies and maintaining cleanliness of work surfaces Ensuring all kitchen areas are kept tidy and free from hazards throughout service Assisting with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with health and safety regulations Supporting the serving staff during busy periods when required Adhering to all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is desirable but not essential; willingness to learn is key Knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations is advantageous Good organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required A positive attitude and strong work ethic Basic understanding of hygiene standards within a professional kitchen setting
