We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by maintaining cleanliness and assisting with food preparation. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about the culinary arts and wish to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hotel environment.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Assist chefs with food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables and preparing ingredients. Ensure all kitchen equipment and utensils are cleaned and stored properly. Support the cooking staff during service by providing necessary items promptly. Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring that hygiene standards are met at all times. Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques is advantageous. A strong commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards hospitality and service.

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
