About Us

We are the UK's number one kitchen makeover company, operating as a franchise with a local owner and a small, friendly team. Our showroom is located in Shirley, Croydon, where we offer a welcoming local service.

Role Overview

Position:

Showroom Consultant

Work Pattern:

7 or 8 days per fortnight, including alternate Saturdays (09:00 to 17:00, 16:00 finish on Saturdays). Occasional additional days may be required for holiday cover.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Lead Management:

Generate, track, and progress sales leads.

Customer Communication:

Take and make phone calls to potential and existing customers, using influencing skills to book appointments and promote our services and products.

CRM Maintenance:

Maintain accurate records in the CRM system.

Customer Experience:

Ensure a seamless and professional customer journey from start to finish.

Showroom Standards:

Maintain excellent service and showroom presentation standards including with brochures and daily cleaning.

Communication Skills:

Deliver exceptional service via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.

Appointment Scheduling:

Arrange and book appointments for home visits, measurements, and showroom visits, recording these in Microsoft Outlook.

Kitchen Product Knowledge:

Show kitchen products and share kitchen design advice with customers who visit the showroom.

Team Collaboration:

Work on your own initiative, with strong attention to detail, well-developed organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a small, effective team with limited supervision.

IT Proficiency:

Use CRM system, Outlook, Word, Excel, and the Microsoft suite efficiently.

Flexibility:

Adapt to various roles within the small business environment.
Experience and Skills

Essential:



5+ years of experience in a similar role within a showroom or the home improvement industry. Proven experience with complex CRM systems, comfortable navigating, updating, and analyzing data across multiple platforms. Confident and efficient in using Microsoft Outlook for managing communications, calendars, and scheduling. Strong attention to detail and ability to quickly learn new digital tools.

Desired:



2+ years of experience in a kitchen showroom sales role.
Additional Information

The kitchen showroom is open 6 days a week, and the job is shared to ensure coverage throughout the week. This list of responsibilities is not exhaustive, and we reserve the right to amend them from time to time.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 16.00 per hour
