We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Kitchen Team Members to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, contributing to food preparation and maintaining high standards of food safety. If you have a passion for cooking and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you. Please note, weekend availability and being available during the busy summer months. It will take time to master this skill in terms of pizza so we are looking for someone who is willing to work hard and invest in growing within this role. This isn't the role for you if you are looking for a stop gap.

Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation and cooking tasks as directed by the head chef or kitchen supervisor. Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to, maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment. Support catering operations by preparing meals for events and functions as required. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and delivery. Help with the organisation of kitchen supplies and inventory management. Participate in maintaining equipment and utensils, ensuring they are clean and in good working order. Engage positively with colleagues, fostering a supportive team atmosphere.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is advantageous but not essential; we welcome those eager to learn. Familiarity with food safety practices is preferred. Experience in meal preparation or catering settings will be beneficial. A passion for culinary arts and a willingness to help others succeed in the kitchen is essential. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: 11.44-12.27 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
