Duties

Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to established recipes and menus. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Support catering operations by preparing dishes for events as required. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations. Participate in inventory management, including receiving deliveries and stock rotation. Serve food to customers when necessary, ensuring a high level of customer service.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, including roles such as catering or restaurant experience. Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and food safety practices is essential. Culinary experience is an advantage but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is key. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are necessary. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Pay: 10.00-13.00 per hour
