Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of ingredients for various dishes, ensuring high standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained. Participate in meal preparation for catering events and daily service, following recipes and portion control guidelines. Support the kitchen team by performing various tasks such as chopping, mixing, and cooking food items as required. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing utensils and equipment after use. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and best practices throughout all kitchen operations. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely service delivery during busy periods.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is advantageous but not essential; we are willing to train enthusiastic candidates. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and catering processes is beneficial. A basic understanding of food safety standards is preferred. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced setting. A genuine passion for culinary arts and a willingness to learn new skills within the kitchen environment.
