Responsibilities
Assist with meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are prepped and ready for cooking.
Support the kitchen staff in cooking and assembling dishes according to our menu specifications.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations.
Help organise the kitchen workspace, ensuring that all utensils and equipment are clean and properly stored.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during service hours.
Participate in catering events as needed, contributing to the successful execution of menus.
Follow instructions from chefs and senior kitchen staff to enhance culinary skills.
Skills
Experience in food preparation within a restaurant or catering environment is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help colleagues as needed.
Excellent organisational skills, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently.
