Responsibilities

Assist in meal preparation and cooking of menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure that all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Participate in catering events as required, providing high-quality service and support. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy service periods. Support the serving of food to guests, ensuring presentation meets our quality standards. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, assisting with stock rotation as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of cooking techniques and meal preparation. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within the culinary field. Experience in catering or large-scale meal preparation is advantageous but not essential.
