Your mission




We are an ambitious stealth-mode startup developing the next generation of robotic wearables.

Your Role:



We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Lab Technician to support the manufacturing and prototyping activities in our lab.

You'll be at the forefront of building physical parts and testing platforms.

The role involves operating 3D printers, assembling mechanical components, and performing post-processing tasks to prepare parts for testing or delivery.

This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in 3D printing and a practical mindset for mechanical tasks.

Your profile



Key Responsibilities:





Operate and maintain 3D printers (e.g. FDM, SLA) Prepare and post-process printed parts (e.g. cleaning, support removal, finishing) Optimize 3D printed parts & outcomes Assist with manual assembly of prototypes and mechanical components Track material usage and ensure the lab is well stocked with consumables Follow lab protocols and safety procedures Keep workspaces clean, organised, and functional Support the engineering team in preparing prototypes and test setups



Required Skills and Experience:



Extensive experience with 3D printing technology and workflows Comfortable using hand tools and performing manual assembly Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills Ability to follow technical instructions and work independently Willingness to learn and support a variety of lab tasks



Desirable (Not Mandatory):



Understanding of basic electronics or mechanical systems Knowledge of 3D modelling software (e.g. Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Blender) Prior experience in a fabrication, prototyping or R&D environment Understanding of CAD-to-print workflows and file preparation (STL, slicing, etc.)
