Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team, working under the direction of Team Leader/General Builder. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various tasks on-site, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong work ethic, the ability to follow instructions, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities of the roles include:

Supporting and assisting the Team Leader/General Builder with every aspect of the works, strip out work, bricklaying, roofing, studwork, boarding, minor plumbing, kitchen installations, bathroom installations

Identifying potential hazards; working in a controlled manner around site specific environments Carrying out works in accordance with health and safety regulations Assisting with the collection of photographs throughout the works Carrying out necessary damage mitigation and restoration works to the highest standards. Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe job site. Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment. Perform general maintenance and cleaning of work areas. Follow instructions from supervisors to complete tasks effectively. Operate basic hand tools and machinery as required. Support skilled tradespeople in their duties as needed. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations on-site. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge. Following all health and safety procedures

Requirements

Previous experience in a labouring role is advantageous but not essential. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment. A valid driving licence is preferred but not mandatory. Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as required. A full UK driving licence, and willingness to travel throughout the UK
