About Us

North Hill Gardens is a well-established and leading landscape design and build company based in Glasgow. We're a

small but busy team

, typically running 2-5 construction projects at a time alongside 4 dedicated maintenance teams. Our projects mainly focus from private residential garden -- all delivered to the highest standard of quality and craftsmanship.

We're now looking for an organised, hands-on

Landscape Estimator / Contracts Manager

to join our team. This is a

new and varied role

, ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, and getting involved in all aspects of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing accurate quotations and cost estimates for hard landscaping projects (desirable). Experience in planning, preparing job programs Managing procurement -- ordering materials and coordinating deliveries on time. Liaising daily with on-site teams, ensuring works are completed to specification and schedule. Conducting site visits and ensuring high-quality standards are maintained. Communicating with clients in a professional and friendly manner. Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Providing input on design, materials, and construction methods when required.

About You

We're looking for someone who's proactive, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
You'll need:

Strong knowledge of

landscape construction

(essential). Experience in

project management

. Excellent

organisational and communication skills

. Confidence in

ordering materials

and managing suppliers. A

keen eye for detail

and pride in delivering exceptional work. Ability to work independently while following existing company systems and methods.

Full UK driving licence

.

Desirable / Advantageous:

Experience

tendering for commercial or public landscaping projects

.
