Overview

We are seeking a skilled, reliable and hardworking Landscape Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting various tasks across our operations, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. Our projects tend to be Gloucestershire based.

Duties

Site Preparation:

Clearing and levelling areas, removing existing materials, and preparing the ground for hardscape installation.

Hard Surface Installation:

Laying paving stones, slabs, concrete, or other hard materials for paths, patios, and driveways.

Structure Installation:

Building retaining walls, fences, pergolas, raised beds, or other garden structures using wood, brick, or other materials.

Water Feature Installation:

Installing pools, ponds, or other water features.

Maintenance:

Cleaning and maintaining hard surfaces, repairing or replacing damaged elements, and potentially performing basic landscaping maintenance.

Working with Plans:

Understanding and implementing design plans provided by garden designers or landscape architects.

Using Tools and Equipment:

Operating power tools, machinery (like excavators or compactors), and hand tools safely and effectively.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a Landscaping role is essential.

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.

- Physical fitness and stamina, capable of lifting heavy objects as necessary.

- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Willingness to travel to site, this can be up to one hour or more.
