Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication and mechanical processes, with hands-on experience in operating laser cutting machinery. This role is crucial for ensuring the precision and quality of our products, contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

Operate laser cutting machines to produce high-quality components from sheet metal. Perform routine maintenance on laser equipment to ensure optimal performance. Interpret technical drawings and specifications to accurately execute production tasks. Utilise hand tools and tooling for assembly and finishing processes. Conduct quality checks on finished products to meet company standards. Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and workflow. Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.

Experience

Proven experience in fabrication, grinding, welding, or similar mechanical roles is highly desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Familiarity with sheet metal work and related processes. Competence in using hand tools and tooling for assembly tasks. Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks. A proactive approach to learning new techniques and improving existing skills.
