We\'re looking for an enthusiastic individual with training and development experience to help support with the onboarding and ongoing development of our growing solar team. As an L&D Specialist, you will be a person who is upbeat, self motivated, resilient and very well organised.

Reporting to our L&D lead, you\'ll be responsible for coordinating and supporting with the onboarding of new team members and their associated training events, creating and delivering content for key solar roles (sales or customer service), as well as promoting a continuous learning culture. You\'ll be based in Brighton and expected to travel regularly to our offices to deliver training and build strong relationships with the teams.

What you\'ll do

  • Work closely with the L&D lead to implement the induction schedule with the team growing across both offices (Birmingham and Brighton)
  • You will identify and prioritise development needs, implement new training techniques and create the best induction experience for our new starters.
  • Help coordinate induction sessions, from designing sessions with guest speakers to securing logistics with the Office Managers
  • Create engagement content materials (google slides or within our learning management system) and be accountable for keeping it up to date (we change our processes quite frequently!)
  • Progressively lead the delivery of induction sessions and drop ins to efficiently onboard our new starters and help them meet their objectives as sales or onboarding specialists
  • Be a key partner in facilitating growth opportunities by providing guidance and feedback from training observations (eg. promotion cycles)
  • Be confident in your training delivery, getting our new teams up to speed on our culture, industry knowledge, internal tools and what good looks like in their role (sales or onboarding specialist)
  • Play a key role in driving our culture, values, and customer obsession across both Solar offices
What you\'ll need
  • Previous learning & development experience by being able to demonstrate your ability to design and deliver content
  • Knowledge of using Google drive (docs, sheets & slides)
  • Be able to build and maintain excellent working relationships with colleagues based across multiple locations in the UK
  • Experience in coordinating project plans and working to deadlines
  • Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, familiar with communicating cross functionally across the business, and in front of a large audience
  • A start up / entrepreneurial mind-set, and being able to adjust to change and keep up with a fast moving business
