The Learning and Development coordinator plays a crucial role in maintaining compliance and technical development on site. They collaborate with labour planning and manufacturing to maintain and implement effective compliance and maintaining an audit ready site. Additionally, they manage the site compliance training budget, oversee vendor relationships, and ensure alignment between the site L&D needs and the central COE.
What will this role achieve?
This role will work in partnership with the site and L&D coordinators across Supply Chain to develop compliance and technical development plans to support the effective delivery of the site. Working closely with labour and manufacturing on site to enable an audit ready environment. Through the use of a matrix reporting structure - linked to central L&D, they deliver a service that meets the needs of site compliance and other development requirements.Site compliance & technical development budget
Conduct evaluation to illustrate return on investment and business benefit
Ensure the site is "audit ready" from a training records and training system perspective at all times.
Conduct Training needs analysis aligned to the site Strategy
Co-ordinate the rolling compliance training programme managing the use of external 3rd parties when required
Develop, recommend and implement improvements to how site training is delivered
Work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering and Labour Management teams to develop and ensure the effective and timely delivery of shop floor skills training plans. (Manufacturing sites)
Ensure all Training Processes are relevant, documented and maintained
Oversee and co-ordinate the site records on thrive (LMS) and Nvolve,
Contribute to the implementation of UK&I wide L&D initiatives when required
What will be your key deliverables?Building and sustaining credibility and trust with site teams and coordinators across different sites through developing authentic relationships.
Strong influencing, communication skills and personal impact to gain credibility with partners
Strong organisation, prioritisation and decision-making skills in order to manage multiple demands from different partners within a fast paced and agile environment
Ability to work effectively with detail whilst being able to maintain a clear view of the bigger picture
Demonstration of personal accountability for great performance and brilliant execution.
Bring your experienceExperience of working with planning and coordination of multiple projects.
Knowledge of HR policy and processes related to the specialist field of L&D
User of Workday, SAP or other HR databases.
Experienced user of IT (Microsoft or Google).

DesirableMinimum of 12 months experience in the delivery of Training at an operational level
Budget management experience
Previous experience in administration & report writing from a Learning Management System (LMS)
