About Us

Nessy's and Norman's is more than a coffee shop -- it's a heartfelt community space, inspired by the lives of two much-loved people. Created to honour, uplift, and reconnect people over great coffee, we offer a safe, beautiful place for everyone -- whether you're catching up with a friend, working remotely, or simply pausing for peace.

Opening this July beside a local flower shop, our cafe is floral-themed and emotionally rooted.

We're Hiring!

We're building a small, passionate team of baristas -- including a

Lead Barista

-- to help us bring this vision to life. If you love coffee, community, and making people feel welcome, we'd love to hear from you.

We're Looking For:

Lead Barista

You'll take the lead on:

Crafting consistently excellent coffee and drinks

Creating seasonal and specialist drinks

, including floral-inspired and wellness-focused options Maintaining high standards in service, cleanliness, and flow Supporting and training newer team members Managing stock, equipment, and opening/closing routines Representing the warmth and purpose behind our brand
Baristas (Full-time or part-time)

You'll be key to daily customer experience by:

Preparing beautiful coffees, teas, and cold drinks Keeping the space clean, organised, and welcoming Sharing product knowledge and recommending drinks Helping with light food prep (toasties, pastries, etc.) Working closely with teammates and supporting each other Engaging with customers in a warm, genuine way

About You

At least 1 year of barista experience preferred Passionate about coffee, service, and connecting with people Confident with espresso, milk texture, and presentation Creative, dependable, and calm under pressure Friendly and collaborative -- we're building a positive culture from day one For Lead Barista: strong leadership, initiative, and eye for quality
