Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Camp Manager to oversee the daily operations of our summer camp. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for educating and inspiring young people through sports and outdoor activities. The Camp Manager will be responsible for creating a safe, enjoyable, and engaging environment for campers while ensuring that all activities align with our educational goals.

Responsibilities

Manage the overall operations of the camp, including staff supervision, scheduling, and resource allocation. Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers by enforcing camp policies and procedures. Manage and evaluate camp staff to ensure high-quality instruction and support for campers. Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and community members regarding camp activities and camper progress. Organise special events, competitions, and excursions that enhance the camp experience. Maintain accurate records of camper attendance, incidents, and staff performance. Collaborate with local organisations to promote sports education initiatives within the community.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a leadership role within a camp or educational setting is preferred. Strong background in sports coaching or related fields; ability to educate campers in various sports disciplines is essential. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children and adults alike. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment. First Aid certification is desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held. A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their personal development through sports and education.

Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 2-6 weeks

Pay: Up to 500.00 per week
