Role Overview:

As a Lead Dental Nurse you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice and maintaining compliance with industry regulations. You will lead a team of dental nurses, overseeing their work and providing guidance and support. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing compliance with relevant regulations, protocols, and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and supervise a team of dental nurses, ensuring their training and development needs are met.

- Provide chairside assistance to dentists and hygienists during dental procedures.

- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.

- Implement and maintain infection control protocols and ensure adherence by the dental team.

- Oversee the monitoring and ordering of dental supplies and equipment.

- Coordinate staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet patient demand.

- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

- Foster a positive and supportive team culture, promoting collaboration and professional growth.

- Managing and being involved with scanning on itero clinics

- Being involved with complex dental procedures such as full arch implants, smile makeovers and working with our team of specialists

Requirements:

- Qualified Dental Nurse with a valid GDC registration.

- Proven experience in a dental nursing role, preferably with some leadership or supervisory experience.

- Sound knowledge of dental compliance regulations and guidelines.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
