As our

Lead Learning & Development Content Designer

, you'll be responsible for developing and delivering learning content that supports capability, growth, safety, and an enhanced customer experience across our merchant businesses (BSS, CCF, Keyline, Travis Perkins - Green & Gold and TF Solutions). You'll work closely with stakeholders to identify business needs and design learning that is both impactful and measurable.

Location:

Flexible, with regional and occasional national travel expected.

12 months Fixed Term Contract



Key Responsibilities:

Identify business and learning needs through data, performance insight, and stakeholder feedback. Design, develop, and implement engaging blended learning solutions aligned to business priorities. Lead and support a small team of L&D content designers, fostering collaboration and high performance. Partner with senior leaders across the Merchant brands to influence learning strategy and implementation. Evaluate the effectiveness and ROI of learning initiatives and continuously improve based on feedback. Tailor content to diverse learning preferences, including AI-generated or automated solutions where appropriate. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of L&D trends, platforms, and best practices to keep content relevant and innovative.

You'll also have:



A recognised L&D or teaching qualification (e.g. PTLLS, CTT, or Level 3 Education & Training). At least 2 years' experience in an L&D leadership role. Proven experience in managing or influencing others in a matrix environment. A strong ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders. Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills. Commercial awareness, strong data interpretation skills, and insight-driven decision making. Familiarity with LMS platforms (e.g. Thrive LXP) and digital content tools is desirable. A collaborative mindset and a passion for delivering excellent learning experiences.
