General arrangements

Full-time employment 40 hours a week Monday - Sunday, working on a Rota basis UK citizenship/residency

Job Summary



The post holder will report to the Director of Nursing.

Job Functions



To help develop the nursing services offered by the clinic To provide clinical leadership within the nursing team. Promote a learning environment for patients, nurse and other healthcare professionals. Act as a mentor and ensure clinical competencies completed and maintained for the nursing team. Maintain professional standards. Manage staff appraisals, rota, holiday leave. Provide clinical education advice to support development of the team and range of services provided. Prioritise own workload and ensure effective me management strategies are embedded within the culture of the team. Support governance including audit, policy and procedure produc on, review and implementation. To support the introduction of new services and processes in the clinic. Work within the latest NMC Code of professional Conduct. To understand, observe and maintain Infec on Preven on Control through the correct usage of PPE; To monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate; To ensure a high level of patient involvement in the treatment process; To utilize the Company's Medical Information System for medical reporting; To record clinical notes in a timely fashion in accordance with the Company's policies; To show competency both on a professional and communicational level to make our patients feel in good hands; To promote a safe clinical environment for all patients, their carers, visitors and staff. To comply with VisitHealth's values and expected behaviours; To grow as part of the team and through the Company's training and development programs. To undertake COVID testing following the procedures outlined; To label samples, record and maintain accurate client records on the clinics system. To consistently deliver a high standard of customer service to the clinics clients.

Qualifications



Active NMC registration Band 6 or higher Proven working experience in a private healthcare setting is desirable; Exceptional communication skills Counselling skills and the ability to listen actively to patients in a non-judgmental manner The ability to deal with criticism and work well under severe pressure Strong attention to detail Patience and a calm demeanour in stressful situations Willingness to continue learning throughout the career Able to meet pre-employment checks including, satisfactory references, enhanced DBS checks Provide proof of your covid vaccination status - This is a general requirement to be employed by and work for a healthcare provider
