What you will do

You will share your time between engineering team activities and working with senior engineering leaders in cross-team quality improvements, initiatives, tools and processes.

You will be involved in the full product development life cycle playing a significant role in delivering innovative solutions that are changing the way we all interact with pubs, restaurants, and hotels.

Main duties:

• Review and improve testing practices described in our QA strategy documents
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders in engineering (devs, testers, architects, devops) and other parts of the business (product, UX, support, etc)

• Write, execute and review manual and automation test cases
• Provide technical advice and assistance to testers in all of FSA (Future State Architecture) teams.
• Take a lead role in the estimation process for epics and features
• Ensure releases are done to our time and quality standards

• Complete a review of requirements provided by the product team
• Assist in the maintenance of the technical back log in collaboration with stakeholders
• Assist with deployment process and provide ongoing support

People responsibilities:

• Mentor and coach other testers
• Help set OKR and goals for the QA discipline

• Line manage other QAs
• You will be responsible for owning and managing your own personal learning and objectives.

Skills Required:

• A solid understanding of testing principles
• Demonstratable understanding of test automation for APIs, Web or Mobile applications

• Good understanding of Agile (Scrum, Kanban) principles.
• Experience in mentoring and coaching team members
• You have a solid understanding of current and emerging trends in the tech industry
• A minimum of 4 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in relevant discipline
• Great understanding of functional and non-functional requirements (especially performance, scalability, reliability and security)
• Experience with at least one programming language, ideally C# or Typescript (Java, JS, Python considered)

Nice to have:

• Advanced ISTQB certifications
• Experience with performance testing tools such as K6 or JMeter
• Experience with Playwright

• You have excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills
• You have strong leadership and organisational abilities
• Strong presentation skills
• Ability to lead a team both remotely and office based.
