Your Role

Join Us as an L&D Manager! Following a successful internal promotion, we're on the lookout for a dynamic Learning & Development Manager. In this role, you'll develop and deliver a comprehensive L&D strategy for our business unit, ensuring alignment with company policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.
Your mission will be to foster continuous professional development, equipping colleagues with the knowledge and skills they need to excel in their roles and reach their full potential within the business. You'll manage and measure robust training packages to maintain a motivated and skilled workforce.
Your Responsibilities

Embrace Flexibility with Us! Our working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. During your first six months, you'll be based on-site, fostering relationships and connecting with colleagues. After this period, enjoy the flexibility of working three days in the office and two days remotely.
Provide leadership to the L&D team, setting clear performance expectations and supporting direct reports in the identification and setting of their business and developmental goals.
Line management responsibility for L&D advisors / Instructors, ensuring team are supported in all HR matters and in accordance with KN HR policies and procedures.
Oversee the business's training and development programmes in line with the business requirements ensuring that the latest training methods are incorporated
Ensure employees are equipped with the requisite skills, knowledge, understanding, practical skills and motivation to carry out particular work-related tasks successfully.
Identify training and development needs within the organisation through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with business managers and human resources.
Collaborate with QSHE Managers to support each area and ensure a consistent approach to QSHE activities
Make recommendations for appropriate training methods and environments on the strength of training needs analysis results.
Understand the requirements and management of training needed to comply with MHE operations within the workplace.
Your Skills and Experiences
-------------------------------
Proven track record at operating at a strategic level within Operational Learning & Development.
Experience is managing / delivery of training for MHE equipment. Not essential, however may be a requirement in the future. Proven experience in people management and management of teams both at location and remotely.
Excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills at a senior level.
Experienced
in developing high quality training materials would be advantageous
