We specialise in supporting children from ages 8 to adulthood who may have experienced social, behavioural, or emotional difficulties due to disrupted attachments, abuse, neglect and trauma.

The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Learning and Development Practitioner to deliver high-quality training across our organisation. The successful candidate will facilitate both live online and face-to-face learning programmes for staff working in residential childcare.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging training sessions across a range of topics including:
Safeguarding & Child Protection
Supervision & Performance Management
Restorative Practice
E-safety
Child Development, Trauma & Therapeutic Parenting
Team Teach, First Aid, and more
Ensure all training is delivered in a sector-specific, functional context
Use online platforms (Zoom, Teams, etc.) effectively for remote delivery
Support a harmonious, inclusive learning environment for staff at all levels
Keep training consistent, evidence-based, and aligned with best practice and legislation
What We're Looking For:
PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS or equivalent recognised training qualification (desirable)
At least 12 months experience training specifically for staff working within children's residential care
Strong working knowledge of safeguarding, trauma-informed care, and relevant legislation
Ability to engage, motivate, and support learners with varying experience levels
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
