The L&P Systems Administrator reports directly to the Head of Global Learning & Performance. This position is accountable for the day-to-day management of our learning systems.

As a System Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our learning systems run smoothly, creation of system guides, training colleagues, leveraging data to make informed decisions, and organizing events that enhance our colleagues\' development.

Given Informa is a truly global business, you will be working within a larger Global Learning team which supports key stakeholders located in various locations. Effective communication, being able to communicate with impact, having a curious mind, high attention to detail and ability to create insightful reports are therefore essential to the success of this position. While this role is based in the UK, there may be a requirement for overseas travel to deliver and support key initiatives.

Working as part of our larger Informa Markets Learning team (IM Learning), the role will require the ability to have a hands-on approach in administration, training creation and delivery, coordination, and analysis of data to ensure we provide actionable insights aligned to the wider IM Learning strategy.

This varied role would particularly suit candidates who would relish the opportunity to use their established skills of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Power BI and enjoy the challenge of creating actionable insights that you can be proud of.

Systems Administration (40%)

  • You might be overseeing the day-to-day operation and maintenance of our Learning and Performance Systems.
  • You might be adding new users into the system.
  • You might be managing requests for edits and additions from the business.
  • You might be sending out programme progress emails or nudge emails.
  • You might be reviewing and updating curriculums, courses, or sessions.
  • You might be chasing colleagues to complete learning evaluations.
Reporting & Insights (approx. 40%)
  • You might be updating, creating better ways, and generating reports that feed into PowerBI.
  • You might be collecting, analysing, and interpreting data from the learning systems to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • You might be developing reports and dashboards to provide insights into learning program effectiveness.
  • You might be making data-driven recommendations for optimizing learning experiences.
  • You might be producing reports for the Learning Partners to consult within their business groups.
Coordination (10%)
  • You might be planning and supporting learning and development events, workshops, and seminars.
  • You might be coordinating logistics, including scheduling, venues, materials, and speakers.
  • You might be evaluating the success of events and making improvements based on feedback.
  • You might be reviewing and updating our current systems learning content and materials.
Delivery (10%)
  • You might be providing technical support to users, troubleshooting issues, and offering advice.
  • You might be delivering training or supporting our colleague\'s onboarding or early careers process.
Qualifications

Required Knowledge

Required Experience and Skills
  • Relevant Degree and/or equivalent experience in a Data, Insights & Analysis-driven role
  • Strong experience using spreadsheets (e.g: MS Excel) including complex data sets
  • Experience working with Data Analytics/Reporting Systems (e.g: MS Power BI, Tableau)
  • Experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS) (e.g: Absorb, Docebo, SuccessFactors, etc.)
  • Experience working with Corporate HRIS systems (e.g: SAP, Oracle, Workday etc.)
  • Experience working with LinkedIn Learning
Desired Experience
  • Previous experience or exposure working with Learning & Performance/Development teams and/or activities
  • Experience within a large global high-matrix organisation
