Sessional rate of pay \xc2\xa310.72 - \xc2\xa312.38p.h.

The successful candidate will support learners when require on a range of accredited and non-accredited courses.

You will support identified learner(s) with the completion of tasks using the teacher\'s resources, or those provided by the Curriculum Development Manager. This may include personal care needs. You will support the learners during the course and help them develop their skills, knowledge and understanding.

You will be expected to contribute to the class teacher\'s preparation at the beginning, and evaluation at the end of each teaching session in respect of the learner(s) they are supporting.

You will support the learners throughout their learning programme, including supporting identified learner(s) to fully integrate when at college and if on enrichment activities outside of the classroom.

The successful candidate will have an understanding of Equality and Diversity, and an appreciation of the requirements of teachers under the Safeguarding of Children & Vulnerable Adults regulations.

About You

Successful candidates should ideally hold:

- Level 2 numeracy and Level 2 literacy.

- Level 2 subject specialism(s) being offered.

- Appropriate learning support assistant qualification, or commitment to complete one within one year of confirmation of post.

Consideration will be given to exceptional candidates who do not hold, but are willing to gain their support qualification, if successful.

The successful applicants will be responsible for their own travel to and from the delivery centres.

In line with national priorities, you will also be expected to support and develop your learners\' English and maths skills.
