As a Sport and Public services lecturer, you will demonstrate the ability to deliver outstanding teaching and learning as well as a destination focused experience that will enable our further education and higher education sports and public services students to succeed in the ever-changing world of work.
We offer an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and passionate lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching across our Further and Higher Education programmes in Sport and Public Services. This role provides learners with a broad understanding of employment opportunities within both sectors, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to pursue careers in areas such as PE teaching, coaching, volunteering, apprenticeships, and the uniformed services.
The successful candidate will support students in exploring the demands and expectations of these professions, fostering their personal development and career readiness. You will design engaging learning experiences that reflect real-world challenges, promote active participation, and encourage progression into employment or further study.
We work closely with employers to help them engage with and invest in talent development in ways that will support the local and national economy. The Active Industries team have worked hard to develop outstanding relationships with local employers, enhancing the teaching and learning experience.
