We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our busy Secured Lending Department.
Key responsibilities:
Dealing with registrations of charge and post completion matters including but not limited to, Land Registry applications and dealing with Requisitions raised by H.M. Land Registry in respect of such applications.
Carrying out final checks and Land Registry searches in order to prepare files for completion.
Maintain the filing system.
Closing files and arranging for the appropriate storage of the same.
Assisting other team members by supporting them with overflow of work when required to include general admin work.
Be familiar with:-
Microsoft Office
Case management system
Admin duties:
Opening and closing of files.
Photocopying.
Experience
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are crucial for client interaction.
Attention to detail is imperative to ensure accuracy in documentation.
