, you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal team by ensuring the smooth running of administrative tasks. You will be the first point of contact for clients and assist with essential duties such as file management, document drafting, and correspondence.

Bournemouth

office.

Our Wills, Trusts, and Estate Planning (WTEP) department provides expert legal advice on wills, lasting powers of attorney, probate, estate administration, and trust management, helping clients protect their assets and plan for the future.

The Role



As a Legal Assistant, you'll be:

Managing filing systems (physical and digital) to ensure all documents are organised and accessible. Drafting correspondence, legal documents, and other paperwork as required. Answering and making telephone calls, liaising with clients and third parties in a professional manner. Assisting with client onboarding, including opening and closing files in line with compliance procedures. Handling general administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, and data entry. Supporting fee earners with diary management, minute taking during meetings and scheduling appointments.

Key Skills & Experience



The ideal candidate will have:

Previous admin experience in a law firm. Strong typing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Highly organised with excellent attention to detail. Confident in dealing with clients in person, over the phone, and via email. Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently in a busy legal environment.
