Southern Housing is seeking an exceptional candidate to provide top-notch administrative support to our in-house lawyers and stakeholder teams. If you are passionate about delivering excellent service to our residents, this role is perfect for you!


Southern Housing boasts a large, highly successful in-house Legal team that handles both contentious and non-contentious work. Our team deals with disrepair, possession applications, injunctions, property disposal, shared ownership, lease extensions, and more. We also collaborate with external service providers to ensure service excellence and value for money.


The Role: We are looking for a coordinator to support our busy lawyers administratively and help them deliver excellent service efficiently. This office-based position offers flexible working options for one day per week upon request.


Key Responsibilities:


Provide front-line and back-office services to team members and supervisors.
Assist with daily post, purchase orders, invoices, document redaction, and archiving.
Prepare court bundles, take phone calls, and manage our CRM dynamics system.
Support Litigation and Transactions Coordinators during busy periods and cover for them during leave.
Review team processes for efficiency and allocate new cases using our referral system.
Arrange meetings, book rooms, and prepare meeting papers and refreshments.


What You'll Need:


GCSE level education including English and Maths (or equivalent).
Basic knowledge of legal services (desirable).
Ability to work within policies and procedures, exercising discretion as needed.
Knowledge of landlord & tenant legal relationships and housing/property law (desirable).
Effective communication and IT skills.
Good influencing, persuading, verbal, and numerical reasoning skills.
Ability to manage conflicting priorities and work under pressure.
