Abbey Estates is an independent sales and lettings agency which was established 29 years ago by its current owner Namir Hassan. Due to the business continuing to grow we're looking to add to our Property Management Team.
We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Lettings and Compliance Officer to join the busy Lettings team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about maintaining high compliance standards across a dynamic property portfolio.

As a Lettings and Compliance Officer, you'll play a key role in ensuring all properties remain legally compliant, safe and well-maintained, while also supporting the office lettings and maintenance teams. You'll be responsible for coordinating safety checks, maintaining accurate compliance records, liaising with contractors and assisting with day-to-day administrative tasks that keep the department running smoothly.

Responsibilities

Liaise with Contractors, tenants, and all landlords to arrange and track appointments. Maintain accurate compliance records and update internal databases Ensure all deadlines are met and chase outstanding certificates or reports Support the lettings team with administrative duties, including handling calls and enquiries Work closely with the repairs team to log and assist with maintenance issues Advise management on compliance risks and support the implementation of internal controls Assist with compliance and customer service queries when required

Requirements

Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities effectively Confident in a fast paced environment with strong time management skills Clear and professional communicator with excellent problem-solving abilities Customer - focused and proactive, with a positive and collaborative approach Previous experience in Lettings and/or property compliance
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 24,960.00-25,792.00 per year

Expected hours: 32.00 per week
