based in the heart of the South Downs National Park. With a strong reputation for personal service and local expertise, we are seeking a
Lettings Manager
to join our friendly yet busy team and take the lead in running and growing our lettings portfolio.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced property professional who thrives in a hands-on role, managing the full lettings process while building lasting relationships with landlords and tenants.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the
end-to-end lettings process
, from market appraisal and property marketing to move-in and tenancy management.
Conduct
landlord valuations, property viewings, and tenancy negotiations
.
Ensure compliance with all
UK lettings legislation and 2025 regulatory requirements
, including Right to Rent, deposit protection, client money protection, and new energy efficiency standards.
Manage tenancy renewals, rent reviews, and check-in/check-out processes. (in conjunction with the property manager)
Proactively grow the lettings portfolio through
business development
and networking within the local community.
Maintain accurate records using modern
property management and CRM systems

Lead and support staff, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Experience & Skills Required
Proven experience in residential lettings, ideally at a
manager or senior negotiator level
.
Strong working knowledge of
current lettings legislation
and upcoming changes in 2025.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple properties and deadlines.
Confident communicator with strong
negotiation and relationship-building skills
.
IT proficient, comfortable with modern
property software and online marketing platforms
.
A self-starter with the ability to work independently in a small, close-knit team.
ARLA/Propertymark qualification
(or working towards) desirable.
Full UK driving licence and access to own car required.
